For the 80th birthday of the Swiss Landibank by Alfred Altherr and Charles Hoch, the manufacturer Burri - Public Elements wished for a celebratory image. So I suggested staging the Landibank on a huge trompe-l'oeil cake in the form of an ornamental garden.

In teamwork with Frédéric Dedelley, design, and Martin Stoecklin, graphics, this image was finally created in elaborate preparation and manual labour:

with wheelbarrows full of gravel, bark mulch, rolled turf, barberries and primeli flowers, the cake was constructed as an anamorphosis exactly from the camera's perspective.

Idea, set design and photography by me.
